Hello there
Thanks for stopping by :)
If you've stumbled across this I assume you're vegan... or just interested to see what a vegan meal is. If that's the case you'll be happy to know it's not all lettuce and carrot sticks - we eat real food! *shock horror*.
As a vegan I am asked all the time "what do you eat?". Why is it so surprising that we normal food? Yes we are a little particular about some things and chefs hate us - is that because they need to think outside the square for a moment? I plan to show you all the yummy things that me and my fellow vegans around the world consume. And to those vegans who have come across this little blog - I hope I can show you something you haven't tried before and introduce something new to you.
I plan to add at least one recipe a week! For awhile these will be mostly be meals and simple snacks as I live in a rental where my oven doesn't work *shakes fist* but once my new house is built (starting soon!) and I am in and settled - watch out for the good stuff!! Cakes, muffins, cookies, etc etc. Also pizza, roast vegies and whatever else I can't make without using an oven. So watch this space!
I hope you enjoy my recipes and keep coming back for more :)

I love the aglia olio, and I used to slice tommytoes in half, now I just wash, dump them in the pan, cover and simmer low; raising lid once in a while to drain off condensed water. Mash them after they cook down and add fresh basil and simmer a bit more with cover off. Mmmmmm
